Jumping off the Page! The Art of Horror

Description: From blood and gore to screaming visages and monsters, the horror genre frequently uses provocative imagery to catch attention and draw in readers and viewers. This exhibit showcases materials from the Horror Studies Collection in the University of Pittsburgh Library System’s Archives & Special Collections that demonstrate this propensity for striking and often visceral artworks meant to attract, entertain, tantalize, and repulse readers, viewers, and casual observers.
