From Manuscript to Printed Page: 500 Years of Music Printing and Publishing

Description: Celebrating 500 Years of Music: Music printing did not begin on a large scale until the mid-15th century, when mechanical techniques for printing music were first developed. Using examples from the holdings of the Finney Music Library and Archives & Special Collections, this exhibit demonstrates the various methods of music printing and publishing from the 15th to the 21st century.
