Trout Stream by Gwen Raverat
Gwen Mary Darwin Raverat was the granddaughter of the naturalist Charles Darwin and an English artist and wood engraver. Raverat was an original founding member of the Society of Wood Engravers in 1920, along with Robert Gibbings, and she is recognized for her importance in the revival of modern wood engraving in the United Kingdom in the early 20th century.

Two Trout Feeding by Robert Gibbings
Robert Gibbings, an Irish artist, sculptor, writer, and wood engraver, was an original founding member of the Society of Wood Engravers in 1920, along with Gwen Raverat. He is recognized as a major influence in the revival of wood engraving in the 20th century.

Clifford Webb was an English artist, and a writer and illustrator of children’s books. Abinger is a large, rural parish in the district of Mole Valley, Surrey, England, through which flows the River Tillingbourne and its tributaries, habitat for wild Brown trout.
