The Compleat Angler, Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton, 2016
The Compleat Angler continues to be popular among anglers around the world today. Its descriptions of fishing techniques are still relevant, and the life lessons it teaches can be appreciated in any time period. As a result, the work is still being published in new editions, with introductions and illustrations from contemporary writers and artists. The most recent edition of the work is from 2016, published by the Oxford University Press and edited by Marjorie Swann.
