Charity Randall Theatre
For our production of Parade, we are taking a minimalist approach that emphasizes the amazing work of our student and community performers, while highlighting how this story continues to resonate within contemporary discussions of intolerance and social justice. On this page, you will find some information about our design process, including research images from our costume designer, Professor KJ Gilmer, and the scenic design rendering by Professor Gianni Downs.
Please take a look around and spend some time with the information and historical context that has been collected by the Parade Dramaturgy team and Bill Daw, Liaison Librarian for Theatre Arts. Above you'll find tabs where you can learn about the Leo Frank case, the original Broadway production of Parade, as well as contemporary issues with which Parade intersects.
