Located on the first floor of Hanley Library (near the restrooms), the Curriculum Resource Center provides a variety of teaching materials, children's books, and young adult selections.
The CRC includes the following collections:
- Textbooks - PreK to 12 textbooks for the certification areas are available at Pitt-Bradford.
- Teacher Supplemental Resource Books - Books to support lesson plans, assessment, inclusive and accessible teaching, and creating engaging classrooms.
- Kits - Hands-on material to use with Pre-K to grade 12 students, such as K'nex Lever and Pulleys, transparent counters, scales, protractors, dice, story cubes, and Makey Makey.
- Teacher Professional Development Resources (CRC PROF) - Books to support lesson planning and evidence-based classroom practices for all certification areas available at Pitt-Bradford.
- Children's and Young Adult Literature - Fiction and nonfiction books appropriate for use in grades PreK to 12.
- Puppets - Hand-and-glove puppets include children, woodland, insects, wetlands, rainforests, and sea animals.
- AV Material-- Access to online streaming through PittCat, and the CRC houses DVDs and audiobooks.
