Anyone can create a trial Omeka site for free!
Some projects may also be eligible for access to a ULS-Hosted Omeka Site, which allows for greater functionality through the larger list of plugins and themes available with the Platinum Plan as well as dedicated training and consultation support from our Omeka Trainers.

Sign up for an account at https://www.omeka.net/signup using the “Start your free Omeka trial” button at the top of the page.
After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email. You must confirm your account creation before you can be invited to any other sites.
Sites you have created or been invited to will appear on your Omeka Dashboard. You may need to look under the "Others' Sites" tab to find sites created by other people where you have been added as a user.
Under the site title you will have a few options:
Click "Manage Site" to start editing!
