Gift of the National Slovak Society, Assembly 39, Uniontown (Fayette County), Pa., June 1980.
District 6 of the National Slovak Society originated in 1919 and spanned 48 years congregating several local assemblies together for various events and activities. It appears from some of the minutes taken that there was a struggle to maintain membership in the District 6 location, but the society continued to be maintained for a number of years.
