Also known as S&P Capital IQ or Standard and Poor’s Capital IQ.
Capital IQ contains detailed financial information about companies and industries. You can screen for companies and create lists.
NOTE: Please review the FAQ for information on terminal/workstation access in the library and individual accounts.
1. Select the "Companies" tab in the top bar.
2. "Under Search Profiles" select "Companies" and you can search by company.
If you would like to generate a list of companies, select "Screening" in the top bar and then "Companies." More information on how to do that can be found here.

Provides company profiles including a company overview, current news, and executive listings.
In the lower right of the screen, select Get Company Info type in company name to get a profile.

Provides in-depth company reports from MarketLine.
1) Using the blue menu bar at the top of the screen, hover over More and select Company Profiles
2) Search the company's name or ticker symbol

U.S.-focused industry reports. Reports contain supply chain info on key buying and selling industries, industry outlook, competitive landscape and operating conditions.

Includes the CFRA Industry Surveys (formerly by S&P).
Click Industry Surveys on the left to access them.
Note - the industries included are very broad. Find the best fit.

Before searching, locate the blue Browse box with all of the search options.
Select Industry Profiles.

Contains profiles on industries in U.S. and Canada. Search by industry keywords.
