First Year Seminar is a three-credit hour course taught by faculty to support new students as they transition to college.
Students are introduced to Pitt Bradford academic resources, student development opportunities, and campus life.
The overarching goals of the First Year Seminar are to develop:
- students’ critical thinking,
- scholarly inquiry,
- information literacy, and
- management skills.
