Dr. McCabe will read excerpts from her new young reader novel, which chronicles the story of Amy, who is starting public school after years of home schooling. The story shows how Amy navigates a path between childhood and adolescence, imagination, and identity. Critics have called the book “deftly crafted, emotionally engaging, and a fun-read from start to finish.”
