Casa San Jose is a community resource center that advocates for and empowers Latinos by promoting integration and self-sufficiency.
VISION
To model a strong culture of acceptance and integration in which immigrants and other newcomers are treated with dignity, respect, and kindness and can freely preserve and celebrate their unique cultures while adapting to their new lives in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Provides regional business opportunities which allow economic growth, while simultaneously advocating, promoting, and facilitating the success of Hispanic entrepreneurs and professionals.

Provides a high-quality early childhood learning experience through immersion in the Spanish language. We firmly believe that exposure to a second language through immersion expands children intellectually, culturally and emotionally. As we build bridges to other cultures, we encourage children to invite diversity into their lives and take on the role of living, breathing bridges themselves.

A volunteer-based, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in Pittsburgh whose membership promote Latin American & Caribbean cultures, creates strategies to increase its visibility in the region, and works to foster cross-cultural connections & alliances.

Multicultural space where Hispanic entrepreneurs can meet with experienced staff who speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese, and English, and who understand the perspective of a Hispanic in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. PHDC guides entrepreneurs to create business plans, cash flow projections, balance sheets, and market analyses, and to identify financing strategies.

Provides primary health care for families and children with an emphasis on cultural and linguistic competence is complemented by activities aimed at empowering the community in decisions that affect their own health.

During its 25 years of uninterrupted broadcasting many different people have been interviewed including artists, teachers, students, community activists, priests and pastors, poets, writers, entrepreneurs, not only in person at the station but also audio interviews with people in other cities of US as well as Germany, Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia.

The Coro Latinoamericano – Pittsburgh, founded in 1997, is dedicated to building bridges to other peoples and cultures in Pittsburgh and beyond through choral music from the countries of Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the Iberian Peninsula. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Coro Latinoamericano – Pittsburgh is committed to educational outreach and the cultural enrichment of the Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania region, and beyond.

Founded and led by tree Hispanic Studies Faculty members at CMU.
Purposes and goals of the program: El Círculo Juvenil de Cultura supports the maintenance and development of Spanish as a heritage language and cultural literacy for children of Latino families in the Pittsburgh community. The program provides a space where families and children can develop social networks with other Latino families in the community.
