The North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA) is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1966 that works toward a world in which the nations and peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean are free from oppression and injustice, and enjoy a relationship with the United States based on mutual respect, free from economic and political subordination. To that end, our mission is to provide information and analysis on the region, and on its complex and changing relationship with the United States, as tools for education and advocacy - to foster knowledge beyond borders.

This journal dedicated to the analysis and promotion of Latin@ literature has a special 2017 issue dedicated to Afro-Latinidad.

Published twice-yearly by Literatures in English, University of the West Indies since 1986. It reflects their continued commitment to provide a regional and extra-regional forum for the dissemination and discussion of Caribbean literary and artistic culture.

Small Axe focuses on publishing critical work that examines the ideas that guided the formation of Caribbean modernities. It mainly includes scholarly articles, opinion essays, and interviews, but it also includes literary works of fiction and poetry, visual arts, and reviews.

Caribbean Studies is a multidisciplinary academic journal published since 1961 by the Institute of Caribbean Studies, College of Social Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. The journal publishes original works on the Social Sciences and the Humanities in English, Spanish or French languages. It is divided in four parts: articles, research notes, book reviews (including review essays of multiple books and individual reviews), and news and events. At present one of the bi-annual issues is usually a special thematic one.

The Caribbean Review of Books (CRB) is a quarterly magazine covering Caribbean literature and arts. We focus on reviews of new and recent books of Caribbean fiction, poems, biography, arts, culture, and current affairs, but the CRB also publishes new writing, interviews, and essays on literature and culture.

Focuses on renewal of practices of intellectual criticism. Recognizes tradition of social, political & cultural criticism in & about regional/diasporic Caribbean & honors tradition but argues with it because through argument tradition renews itself.
