This guide is designed to help you build and manage your Mendeley citation manager and collection.

Check Your Mendeley Account Size

To see the size of your Mendeley account:

  1. Go to http://www.mendeley.com , and sign into your account.
  2. In the upper right corner, you should see your name and a down arrow to the right of your name.  Select the down arrow, then select Settings from the menu.
  3. In the Settings page, select the Subscription heading from the menu on the left.  This should show you how much personal space and how much Shared space you have in your Mendeley account. 

A free Mendeley account allows you 2GB personal storage for personal documents.  If you are above these limits, please contact our Citation Management Team.
