About the Writing Center
The Writing Center provides a place for all University of Pittsburgh students to come to work on their writing. The Center is staffed by experienced consultants who have been trained to help others with their writing. The services are free to all University of Pittsburgh affiliates.

Schedule an Appointment
To schedule an appointment with writing center, you need to use their use online appointment system. If it is your first time, you need to register for an account using your PITT email address.
International Café and Writers' Café
During Fall and Spring Terms, the writing center offers International Café and Writers' Café, which are series of workshops that tackle some of the difficulties of writing and using English as a non-native speaker. Free refreshments, good learning opportunities, and fun. Check the linked pages to see dates and times.
