In previous years, before [my] LibGuide, the students were pretty lost in this type of research unless they came to me individually for lengthy private tutoring on using the databases. With the LibGuide online, I felt that students this last year were more competent in [completing their research assignment], whether they came to see me or not. I spent a good deal less time tutoring because the students didn’t feel the need to come to me to learn how to navigate the databases.
