CR/10 is an experimental project aimed at collecting the true memories and impressions of ordinary people who experienced Cultural Revolution. The aim is to record the effect of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution on different areas and different people, as well as individuals' understanding of this historical incident after it happened.

A project of Harvard University’s Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies, the Digital Archive of Japan's 2011 Disasters is an evolving, collaborative space for citizens, researchers, students, and policy makers, and a site of shared memory for those most directly affected by these events.

This project locates, digitalizes, archives, and disseminates online photographs from the substantial holdings of images of modern China held mostly in private hands outside that country.

The site includes many images relating to East Asia and the West.

Visualizing Modern China uses image-driven scholarship to further students' understanding of critical historical issues, while simultaneously offering step-by-step guidance in the analysis of visual sources.
