Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month

Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month.  The 2022 theme is "Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation."

"From September 15 to October 15 each year, Americans observe National [Latinx] Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the achievements, histories, traditions, and cultural diversity of Hispanic/Latino/Latinx Americans whose heritage is rooted in 20 Latin American countries and territories: Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic" (NECHPM, 2022).

All books listed below can be found in the "Open Interdisciplinary Book Display and Collection" on the first floor in Hanley Library near the quiet study room area. The Interdisciplinary Open Display is a thoughtfully curated collection with books available for checkout. The featured collection for each is based on national, regional, and campus celebrations and programs. Each of the tabs contains a collection of books curated around topics.
