This guide offers an introduction to literature of the African diasapora, including works by black writers from America, the West Indies, Africa, and Europe. The information you will find here is related to two courses taught by Africana Studies professor Christel Temple. Use this site as a resource for identifying and accessing the major texts taught in the course, secondary literature by critics and scholars, and helpful guides on reading and writing for academic audiences.
