The ULS has many great resources available on or about children’s literature. Our collection includes both historical and current books written for children, critical treatments of significant works of children’s literature, biographical information, reference resources, and review materials from journals and other sources. This research guide contains links to the tools that will help you develop the ability to appreciate, critique, and evaluate children’s literature. It will also assist you in gaining familiarity with standard reference resources, databases, and publications, and will enable you to better identify trends, current concerns, and existing needs relating to children and reading.
This guide includes content drawn from the Children's Literature--Bradford Campus resource created by colleague and specialist Librarian Marietta Frank.
