The University Library System (ULS) has lots of services and resources to help you in your classwork. These pages will show you how to get the most out of the library.

Access to full-text library resources from off-campus is easy! 

Search as you normally do, click on the link to full-text, log in with your Pitt email login and password, and you're good to go for your entire searching session! Access will work best if you stay in the same browser.

. . Find sources for my research?

Starting your research can be tough, but these pages can help you along the way.  If you're stuck at any point, talk to a librarian.  Librarians can save you time and work by pointing you toward the best source of information for your topic.

Getting to full-text resources an databases is super-easy!  Just click on the link, and you'll be asked to log in with your Pitt computing login and password.  Login just once, and you're good to go for your entire searching session.

Start your searching with PITTCat+, our gateway searching tool.  PITTCat+ searches across all our content, letting you tailor your results by topic, type of material, availability, and much more!

. . Find articles on a topic?

The ULS has access to millions of full-text articles online through the ULS Databases. Or start with a subject.
