Research Data Management @ Pitt

This guide will assist researchers in planning for the various stages of managing their research data and in preparing data management plans required with funding proposals.

About RDM Instructional Modules

The University Library System has developed a series of short modules that focus on research data management topics. Library staff members are available to deliver individual or combined modules in person and to customize these modules to meet the needs of departments, labs, courses, and students groups. 

The modules are packaged as a set of slides, lesson plan, and, often, an optional module activity. Files are available in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint file formats, as well as open document text (.odt) and presentation (.odp) files. .odt and .odp files are compatible with Microsoft Office and applications such as OpenOffice, GoogleDocs and Google Slides.
