This is a collection of Chinese language e-books.

China Academic Journals (CAJ) is a full-text database covering approximately 6,600 journal titles from the People's Republic of China. It provides over 8 million full-text and full-image periodical articles dealing with the humanities and social sciences published from 1994 to date. Database is updated daily and searchable in both English and Chinese.

A web-based online service on China's news, business, legal and statistical information. It offers access to a number of full-text Chinese language databases covering a wide range of information such as: business news from over 1,000 leading local newspapers (1992-); business journals and government survey reports (1995-); news and reports of publicly listed companies (1993- ); contact and background information of 180,000 companies; statistical data from national and provincial statistical yearbooks, China Economic Statistics Bulletin, the People's Bank of China Quarterly Statistical Bulletin, and Custom Statistics; China central and municipal laws and regulations (1949-); structure and functions of Chinese government agencies; and biographies on leading government officials and famous personalities.

This Chinese language interface provides full text access to Chinese e-books.

Duxiu is a huge knowledge system and it is a platform of in-depth searching, full text retrieval, and document delivery services. It provides access to more than 3 million Chinese bibliographic entries and 2 million scholarly resources (full-text searching, full-text reading or limited views) in all subjects and formats, such as books, journal articles, newspapers, theses, conference papers, videos, and webpage. End users can also receive contents through online requests.

The National Index to Chinese Newspapers & Periodicals (NICNP) is a product of Shanghai Library. It is a powerful search tool for Chinese newspapers and periodicals. It provides access to bibliographical information of Chinese articles from 1833 to the present (more than 4,000,000 entries). The University of Pittsburgh's subscription allows patrons to search Chinese newspaper and periodical published from 1833 to1949.

How to use the database: 1. Full functionality with Internet Explorer 2. Click on 用户登录 to enter the database. 3. Click on 数据检索 (the coverage of periodical index that Pittsburgh subscribed have already been selected by default). 4. There are several options for searching such as 普通检索(basic), 高级检索(advanced), etc. 5. Click on an article title for complete citation information. 6. Logout by clicking on 注销.

Scripta Sinica is the largest Chinese full text database to encompass an enormous breadth of historical materials of this scale. It contains almost all of the important Chinese classics, especially those related to Chinese history.

A website that offers yearly and monthly statistical data on social and economic situation of China. The information sourced from national and provincial statistical yearbooks, industrial yearbooks, the People's Bank of China Quarterly Statistical Bulletin, China's Customs Statistics, etc. since 90s with some dated back to 1949. Data can be downloaded into an Excel sheet.

The database includes Master's theses, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral dissertations in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences from Chinese research institutions from 1980 onward.

This database currently contains over 20,000 volumes of Chinese gazetteer books, covering 31 provinces and autonomous regions. The database provides detailed geographic and historical records of provinces, prefectures, cities, and smaller district administration units.

Annual Reviews publications are among the most highly cited in the scientific literature, and are available in print and online to individuals, institutions, and consortia throughout the world.

The scope of ARTbibliographies Modern extends from artists and movements beginning with Impressionism in the late 19th century, up to the most recent works and trends in the late 20th century. A particular emphasis is placed upon adding new and lesser-known artists and on the coverage of foreign-language literature.

Asian American Drama contains 70 plays by 17 playwrights, together with detailed, fielded information on related productions, theaters, production companies, and more. When complete, the collection will include more than 250 plays, of which some 50% have never been published before.

This online version of the Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS) contains more than 410,000 records on all subjects (especially humanities and social sciences) pertaining to East, Southeast, and South Asia published worldwide from 1971 to the present. Since 1992, newly published individual monographs are no longer being added to the database, and users seeking monographs are urged to consult other general resources and databases.

CountryWatch provides up-to-date information and news on the countries of the world.

The Digital National Security Archive contains over 40,000 U.S. government documents declassified under the Freedom of Information Act. These documents derive from the CIA, the FBI, the Defense Department and numerous other government agencies.

In Brill's Encyclopedia of China scholars and students find sound, in-depth information on China from its early beginnings up to today, with a clear focus on the modern period from the mid-nineteenth century to the 21st century. The encyclopedia is the result of an international academic effort, and covers the history, geography, society, economy, politics, science, and culture of China.

This database is the largest collection on Taiwan's history in the Chinese language. It is based on the Taiwan Literatures Series, edited by Chou Hsien-Wen, former Dean of the Law School of National Taiwan University, and it is the most frequently used database of this sort since its launch to the market. The Encyclopedia of Taiwan incorporates local histories, official documents of Ming, Qin Dynasties as well as Nan-Ming.

Ethnic NewsWatch is a full-text collection of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. Ethnic NewsWatch contains nearly 500,000 complete articles dating back to 1990 from 200 publications. English and Spanish language search options are available.

JSTOR is an online collection of academic journals in all fields.

Features a collection of over 350,000 primary works of poetry, drama and prose with complementary reference materials and literary criticism. Also included is The Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature (ABELL) literary index and 20,000 author pages.

Newspaper Source provides access to both national and international newspapers, and contains abstracts and indexing from the following papers (cover to cover): the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, and USA Today. This is an EBSCOHost database.
