Improve your story--make a dummy!

A dummy is a mock-up of your book and allows you to clearly see how to tighten the action, better engage the reader, and incorporate images. It's crucial in transforming your manuscript into a book!  Here are the simple steps:

stack the paper and fold it in half

fold in half again, so that paper, when unfolded, is quartered

staple the center

cut the top edges
