If you're a first-year or new transfer student, you can choose to be assigned to a Personal Librarian who will help you get the most out of Owen Library’s services and collections during your first year at Pitt-Johnstown.

To sign up for a Personal Librarian, just complete the Personal Librarian @Pitt-Johnstown request form by September 16, 2022. Your Personal Librarian will be in touch soon after! If you decide to sign up to participate later in the academic year, please stop by the Information Desk on the first floor.

• send you periodic email messages highlighting library resources and services for students
• answer your questions about library policies and services
• assist you in finding materials for research assignments
• provide referrals for information about other services on campus (such as computer technology, tutoring, financial aid, and more)
• invite you to special events at Owen Library
