Citation Information

Professors vary on the citation style they require you to use for your research paper.  The Hanley Library carries the latest print editions of the APA, MLA, and Chicago manuals at the reference desk and on the reserve shelf.  Stop by the reference desk for help citing your paper.

Citation Management

There are many tools for importing citations from sources like article databases and automatically integrating them into your research paper and bibliography. Some examples are:

An expansive set of citation formats are supported including APA, MLA, and the Chicago Manual of Style .

Your professor may check for plagiarism and check your citations. To avoid this problem, be sure to review the ULS Avoiding Plagiarism tutorial.
