Digital Dossier: Manage Your Online Presence and Use Web Tools Effectively: Social Bookmarking

Web tools to help manage your academic work.

Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking involves saving bookmarks one normally makes in a Web browser to a public Web site and "tagging" them with keywords.

Tags are keywords applied by users that are available to others. These are community-driven, keyword-based classifications, are also known as "folksonomies".

Some bookmark applications will allow you to highlight, annotate, and create sticky notes.
