Located in the Digital Scholarship Commons in Hillman Library, Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) is open to students, faculty, and researchers from all disciplines for consultations and training for those involved in digital humanities projects and other data-driven scholarship. All students, faculty, and staff with a current University of Pittsburgh ID card are eligible to borrow equipment from the Hillman Equipment Collection during our hours of operation, including laptops, iPads, and audio and visual equipment.

Located on the ground floor of Hillman Library, the reservable One Button Studio is a simplified video recording setup that does not require any video production experience. The design of the studio allows you to create high-quality and polished video projects without knowing anything about lights and cameras. To use the One Button Studio, you only need to bring your flash drive and push a single button.

1. Reserve the studio
2. Insert your thumb drive into the dock to begin
3. Press a button to start/stop recording
4. Remove your thumb drive when finished
