The purpose of this guide is to provide information sources to assist in: writing papers, answering test questions, and understanding class readings.
Access to full-text library resources from off-campus is easy!
Search as you normally do, click on the link to full-text, log in with your Pitt email login and password, and you're good to go for your entire searching session! Access will work best if you stay in the same browser.
If we do not have a particular book, article or other resource in our collection, you can borrow it from another campus or local, national or worldwide library through our free interlibrary loan services.
When you need help using the library or trying to figure out which sources to use for a paper, use our Ask-a-Librarian feature. You can e-mail questions to us, text a question, or call us with a request.
