Welcome! ¬°Bien venidos! Bom vindo!

Hello! I'm Martha Mantilla, Librarian for Latin American Studies.  This guide is intended for doing library and Internet research on Caribbean history with emphasis on Caribbean migration.

"Unless we understand the colonial impact, we cannot understand our present situation, whether we live in a "developed" (i.e., rich) or an "underdeveloped" (i.e., poor) country."        K. W. J. Post.

Caribbean History Research

This is a basic guide for doing library and Internet research on Caribbean history and its global connections. Depending on the subject topic, there are multiple resources available for use. A more comprehensive look at the University Library System's (ULS) online resources can be viewed alphabetically or by subject listing. You are always welcome to schedule a research consultation with your liaison librarian for help.
