Orbis terrae compendiosa descriptio

Rumold Mercator was a cartographer and the son of Gerhard Mercator.  Rumold condensed his father's famous 1569 map of the world into a double hemispherical color map and published it in Isaac Casaubon's edition of Strabo's Geographia.  The Western Hemisphere only is extant in this copy.
