Chinese Studies Resources and Services @ Pitt: Resources Beyond PITT

This guide introduces major Chinese print and electronic resources accessible to Pitt-affiliated users. It serves as a general resource survey to China studies faculty and students at the University of Pittsburgh.

If You Don’t Find the Material You Need at Pitt

If the University Library System does not have what you are looking for, you may

  •  Ask us to purchase a book we don't own
  •  Borrow directly from other libraries in Pennsylvania and nearby regions through E-ZBorrow
  • Get a Special Borrower Card to visit and borrow from other libraries like Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne University and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh
  • Use Interlibrary Loan to borrow from other libraries in North America and overseas.

If What You Need Is Nowhere Available in North America

The East Asian Gateway Service (EAGS) delivers Chinese academic journal articles and up to 3 chapters of Chinese books to any individual researchers for research and teaching purpose or non-profit organizations who cannot find the needed item in any U.S. libraries. Please fill in the online request form if what you need is nowhere available in North America.
