Images in Speeches

Adding visual elements (such as photos, maps, or charts) can enhance your speech. You will find stock images available in most presentation software that are free to use, but there are various other resources that you can search for visuals to insert into your presentation, including:

Use Creative Commons Search to search different providers for items that are specifically licensed under a Creative Commons license.

Tip: When searching Google Images, from the Usage Rights drop-down box under Tools select "Creative Commons Licenses" to help ensure that you don't violate copyright licenses with the images you use. Don't forget to provide proper attribution to any visuals that you didn't create yourself!
