About the Classics Department

The Department of Classics at the University of Pittsburgh focuses on the interpretation of the culture and society of Greco-Roman antiquity in the widest sense of those terms.  It offers a Greek and Latin major, a Classical Civilization major, and a Classics minor for undergraduates.
